No privacy in new cars. So just forget about privacy and enjoy the car. They are so much fun and amazing to drive.

Advice is difficult, depends on price and preference. When I was buying a car, I spent every weekend test driving different cars. I think that's a good way.

There's no way you're "covering up" an antenna. Frequently the antenna is the body of the car itself.

Look up the fuse box layout of the car model you're interested in to check if the communication system is on a separate fuse that you can pull without disabling anything else useful.

I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think you can really maintain privacy.

Sure, maybe you can disable some antennas to stop your location from being broadcast, but there are cameras in ever major road, so you cant get far without being spotted by a camera. Cars can also store data locally, then if you take your to the dealership, they will access the data. So you'd have to find an individual car mechanic that doesn't read this data, and at anytime, they can betray your trust. Not to mention, your phone is kinda already tracking you, so you'd have to turn that off as well, even dumbphones still have cellular triangulation and has even worse security. And whenever you need to use your phone, the carrier will know where you are.

So I think in the modern world with all these cameras, you kinda have to accept that you ain't gonna get much privacy.

Or the alterative is to not have a phone on you when you travel, take public transport, cover your face, etc.

If you want privacy, you'll have to sacrifice convienience.

I only saw a few people saying this, but buy a used car from anywtime-2012 max.

Make sure that car is in good shape, has been up to date on oil changes and was well taken care of. And if you wants some newer car features, adding in a newer stereo could do the trick.

But get used to learning how to fix your car because less cars will be made that meet your requirements. Meaning that if you don't to sacrifice privacy for a new car when yours breaks down, be ready to fix it.

financially aim for minimal depreciation. typically thats buying a 3 year old car and selling it when its 6 or 7. try to find total cost of ownership data to minimize repair costs.

practically find one that suits your needs.

• If it's a used car, take it to a mechanic you trust during your test drive period and have them look them over.
• Go to your local bank or credit union with a car you want to buy (rough idea and cost) and see if they can give you a letter of credit. Then go with that approval letter to the dealer to buy the car.
• Don't buy a car that doesn't have the features "you need" and no a scat pack is never in a "need list".

Les mythes grecs et romains ont cette spécificité que, par rapport à d'autres cultures, on les connaît vraiment bien. Très bien. Un peu trop bien.
On a une foultitude de sources écrites s'étalant en gros de 750 av. J.-C. (Homère) au... XIIe siècle APRES J.-C. (les érudits byzantins comme Tzétzès).

Dans ces sources, on compte :
> des œuvres littéraires de fiction
> des œuvres littéraires "historiques"
> des allusions dans de la non-fiction
> des... équivalents de dictionnaires de mythologie

Dans les superstars on compte aussi les tragédies grecques d'Eschyle, Sophocle et Euripide, et si vous me demandez "y en a pas d'autres", la réponse est "si mais on les a perdues".
Et bien sûr tout un tas d'œuvres littéraires antiques moins connues du grand public, conservées en entier ou en fragments, comme La Suite d'Homère (en entier), les Chants cypriens (en fragments).

Mais bon. Le souci des oeuvres littéraires, c'est quand même... qu'elles ont des auteurs.

Et ces auteurs, parfois, ne se connaissent pas les uns les autres (parce que certains écrivent genre 10 siècles après d'autres, dans une autre langue et une autre aire géographique), ou se réécrivent, ou jouent sur la tradition, ou sortent des versions tellement hors normes qu'on peut les soupçonner d'inventer.

Un exemple.
Le dramaturge Euripide, auteur de tragédies athénien, quasi-éternel 2e ou 3e des concours de théâtre de l'époque.

Si bien que certains mythes sont rapportés par des historiens. Hérodote, par exemple, commence son livre par passer en revue les mythes où on voit un contact ou un conflit entre l'Europe et l'Asie. Tite-Live rapporte la légende de la fondation de Rome.

Ou encore Diodore de Sicile, mon petit chouchou, qui collectionnait et résumait d'autres livres historiques. Puisque le mythe fait partie de l'histoire, il nous a livré un récit quasi intégral des travaux d'Héraclès.

Petit aparté :

S'il y a une chose à vous rappeler sur l'Antiquité, c'est que lire des textes antiques, c'est comme explorer un iceberg sans savoir nager. En permanence on se rend compte de la masse invisible et inaccessible des textes et des récits qu'on a perdus et qu'on n'aura jamais.

(et encore, je me plains mais c'est mille fois pire quand on s'intéresse à d'autres cultures)

On sent que pour eux les récits mythiques sont associés à la fiction littéraire. On y croit, mais avec des réserves. On croit qu'Héraclès existe, on croit même qu'il est fils de Zeus, on croit pas forcément qu'il a percé un géant à trois corps. On estime que des "poètes" ont inventé tout ce qui semble peu vraisemblable.

Il y a d'ailleurs eu, dès l'Antiquité, une tentative de rationalisation des mythes à travers un mouvement philosophique appelé l'évhémérisme.
