Unlike other creative processes, like making music, which can be heard, or painting pictures, which can be seen, math is for the most part an internal process, hidden from view. “It sounded a bit magical. I was intrigued,” he said. \ His curiosity eventually led him to pursue a doctoral degree in math at Paris Diderot University in the late 1990s. He spent the next decade studying geometric group theory before leaving research mathematics and founding a machine learning startup in 2010. \ Through it all, he never stopped questioning what it actually means to do math. Bessis wasn’t content to simply solve problems. He wanted to further interrogate — and help other people understand — how mathematicians think about and practice their craft.

Je souhaite simplement que Mme Pelicot et ses enfants trouvent l'apaisement. Et les avocats, brillants, qui les ont accompagnés aussi. Et que ceux qui ont essayé de faire de ce procès une mascarade tombent dans l'oubli sanctionnés par leur ordre.

oui, tu as raison, ça ne fera pas changer les hommes, mais peut-être que ça va renforcer la détermination des victimes, la vigilance intra familiale, le travail des assos. Egalement accélérer le mouvement de prise en charge de certaines problématiques par les professionnels judiciaires (les magistrats se forment de plus en plus) et de santé, donc à terme un changement de société qui continue lentement. @MadameMollette ça ne sert pas à rien. CES hommes ont été jugés. Mais je ne crois pas aux formules telles que "Il y aura un après Mazan". Les choses continueront à changer comme après MeToo. Des gens s'interrogent sur le traitement des VSS, au niveau sociétal, politique, judiciaire et c'est très bien. Mais il ne faut pas s'attendre à un changement miraculeux. Ce sera encore long.
@MadameMollette j’ai arrêté de suivre le procès, c’était trop dur. Mais récemment il y a eu des articles intéressants dans Le Monde. Pour moi le «allMen», en tant que femme, ça veut dire que je ne peux pas savoir d’avance quel homme sera dangereux (ben oui c’est pas écrit sur leur front) et qu’ils le soient parce que la société les a élevé comme ça ou qu’ils soient vraiment malsain, le résultat sera le même si je suis victime. 1/2
@MadameMollette dans un des articles du monde, un chercheur expliquait en quoi la réponse du « notAllMen » était violente pour les femmes, tout en indiquant que c’était aussi une excuse toute trouvée pour les avocats des accusés, mettre en avant la société machiste, ça déresponsabilisait leurs clients. C’est complexe, la seule chose que je sais, c’est que j’ai 2 garçons et je veux m’éloigner de l’éducation patriarcale et violente. 2/2
@Absinthe @MadameMollette Perso, la formule qui me parle plus que AllMen, c'est AnyMen, et ça rejoint exactement ce que tu dis : n'importe quel homme, aucun moyen de savoir à l'avance. Et étant de l'autre côté du problème, j'essaie de trouver comment montrer que je ne représente pas un danger, sauf que, mettre en confiance, c'est typiquement ce que va faire un agresseur...

Non pas tous les hommes des violeurs, mais tous les hommes dans une société patriarcale en situation de domination. C'est-à-dire que même en faisant tout ce qu'on peut, à partir du moment où on est dans le groupe dominant, on y est et on en bénéficie qu'on le veuille ou non et même si on peut aussi en souffrir.

Pastebin is a long text and code snippet sharing site. The site has some limitations for free accounts, and does not allow file uploads.
Pastebin recently flagged one of my pastes as spam, so I needed to look for an alternative. The best two open source self-hosted alternatives I found were PrivateBin and MicroBin, both of which do what Pastebin does, and sharing of files. My video takes you through a comparison I did to try to decide which of the two would be best for me to use. I also mention a workaround for not being able to remove a MicroBin paste, and demonstrate how both these applications work.
