@MadameMollette ça ne sert pas à rien. CES hommes ont été jugés. Mais je ne crois pas aux formules telles que "Il y aura un après Mazan". Les choses continueront à changer comme après MeToo. Des gens s'interrogent sur le traitement des VSS, au niveau sociétal, politique, judiciaire et c'est très bien. Mais il ne faut pas s'attendre à un changement miraculeux. Ce sera encore long.

Pour moi le «allMen», en tant que femme, ça veut dire que je ne peux pas savoir d’avance quel homme sera dangereux (ben oui c’est pas écrit sur leur front) et qu’ils le soient parce que la société les a élevé comme ça ou qu’ils soient vraiment malsain, le résultat sera le même si je suis victime. 1/2

Non pas tous les hommes des violeurs, mais tous les hommes dans une société patriarcale en situation de domination. C'est-à-dire que même en faisant tout ce qu'on peut, à partir du moment où on est dans le groupe dominant, on y est et on en bénéficie qu'on le veuille ou non et même si on peut aussi en souffrir.

Pastebin is a long text and code snippet sharing site. The site has some limitations for free accounts, and does not allow file uploads.
Pastebin recently flagged one of my pastes as spam, so I needed to look for an alternative. The best two open source self-hosted alternatives I found were PrivateBin and MicroBin, both of which do what Pastebin does, and sharing of files. My video takes you through a comparison I did to try to decide which of the two would be best for me to use. I also mention a workaround for not being able to remove a MicroBin paste, and demonstrate how both these applications work.

since joining Bluesky I’ve rarely checked Mastodon. It’s kinda sad since I was here since Twitter went to hell. Bluesky is doing it right for the moment so I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.
There is no option that may not one day burn down around you. That's just the sad reality of these things. Mastodon and the fediverse more generally at least lets you keep your connections (more or less) as you migrate to another place. It's not perfect, but I think that part is important, and it's why I intend to invest my energy here and not there.
Well, I hope we shall continue to see you here, too. I see the problems that the Ocotodon maintainer mentions with Mastodon, but I don't agree that they should outweigh the problems with the alternatives.
In the end, there is a fundamental problem to solve here: Either we rely on individuals and community projects like this one, or we rely on investment capital, and they will enshittify the platform accordingly.
And if we are to take our clues from the Linux world: Yes, there are many abandoned distributions out there - but there are also some *incredibly* reliable and resilient ones out there that have lived for more than 30 years.

I've been on mastodon.social, the flagship instance, since 2017, and there are plenty of other stable, long-lived instances. Bluesky is tempting and I may well set up an account there, but I think all centralized social media systems are fatally flawed. I would miss seeing you here, but do what you need for you. I know you can port your Bluesky over to Mastodon, maybe look into that? Bluesky already has a majority ownership of a bitcoin company who also have Russian ties, so I'm not going to join there. But then, follower count means nothing to me, I'm happy with my diverse group I follow and interact when I desire. Mastodon suits me well.

I had a half dozen email addresses and as many websites before I broke down and bought my own domain. Graduated from rutgers, quit IBM, stopped paying for flash.net, yahoo.com and sourceforge.net got weird... I don't see why mastodon is different, but you do you.
