Ils ont rapidement appris que ce genre de comportement ne tourne pas rond quand on ne dispose pas d'armes semi-automatiques et d'avions de chasse.

The comments that followed a letter by the group of conservative MPs comes in a very bad time with Trump hell-bent on pushing Iran into total isolation and hoping for regime change by the people.

The Iranian Constitution was modified to removed the title of "head of the nation's defence forces" from the president to the spiritual leader in early 1980s, Khomeini at the time and now Khamenei. Which means that parliament members, the president or even the defense minister has no decision making abilities and can only make suggestions about military and defense and the final decision is made by the "spiritual leader" (Valiye Faghih) .
